Mike Hobbs R.I.P
Unfortunately earlier this week we learned the sad news of the passing of Mike Hobbs.
Mike presented the highly rated Meeples and Miniatures podcast with Neil Shuck. He was extremely popular among the wargaming community and was affectionately know as the Welsh Wizard. I think its fair to say he had a major influence on how this Podcast is produced.
Everybody at TTR wishes to share their deepest sympathies to Mike's friends and family.

Grail Games drop Knizia Titles
Grail Games founder David Harding, addressed the studio’s history of releasing new editions and reprints of Knizia’s most beloved games - including Tigris & Euphrates sequel Yellow & Yangtze, Medici: The Card Game and train game Stephenson’s Rocket - only for those titles to not financially perform as well as they hoped.
“I am immensely proud of Grail’s editions of Yellow & Yangtze, Medici and Stephenson’s Rocket, but these reprints and revisions, while great at getting BGGers to notice what one is doing, just… haven’t sold well,” admitted Harding.
In response to the lackluster sales, Harding confirmed that Grail would no longer be printing the Knizia titles it had already released - including this year’s Whale Riders - before advising players to “grab those leftover copies while you can”, as they will leave the publisher’s catalogue by the end of 2021.
Galaxy Trucker Re-release
Vlaada Chvátil's, Galaxy Trucker, is seeing a reprint coming sometime this summer.
Originally released in 2007, Galaxy Trucker will be getting re-released with brand new artwork along with additional components such as extra ship tiles, as well as improved versions of existing tokens like the astronaut and alien pieces.
The gameplay for Galaxy Trucker has been streamlined to make the beginner board game even more accessible, speeding up the pacing of the title to allow players to complete a single flight in their journey across space. Should more experienced players want some extra challenge, then the Transgalactic Trek mode includes a three flight campaign to provide a more intense experience.

Cursed City Curse
Following last weeks show where I briefly mentioned low levels of stock leading to Games Workshop's Cursed City selling out, it looks like there will not be a reprint. To say this is leaving many fans disappointed is a massive understatement.

Transmissions Board Game
Share mechanical friends in a lovely rondel worker placement board game!
Based on the lovely illustrated world of Matt Dixon, Transmissions brings his world of mechanical friends to life. In the game, players share robots as workers moving around a rondel-styled board, collecting engrams and electricity. These are used to gather ideas to improve your use of the robots or items to score points at the end of the game. You also build your own set of connected, flowing pipes while gathering birds and butterflies to score even more points. The game ends when no ideas are left, a player's robots are complete, or no pipes remain to be built. After an equal number of turns, the player with the highest total score wins!
The game features a unique mechanism of worker selection and sharing with incredible illustrations, adorable miniature robots, and very welcoming play for everyone!
